Aydee Nowep is a Mexican Production Designer & Costume Designer, born in 1979, who has built a solid, artistic, and deeply sensitive career within the audiovisual world. Her work is defined by a powerful aesthetic vision and an intuitive understanding of how visual elements can transform and elevate a narrative. Her academic background in Industrial Design at UNAM, complemented by studies in Fashion Design and Marketing at Gestalt Design School, provided her with a solid technical foundation—one she has continually expanded through a strong self-taught practice. She has experience in textile dyeing, garment construction, textile printing, graphic design, illustration, basic carpentry and metalwork principles, as well as material exploration. This allows her to approach each project from a comprehensive, multidisciplinary perspective, where craftsmanship and storytelling intertwine organically.
She began her professional career in 2005, gradually shaping a distinctive style that blends interpretation, sensitivity, and visual strategy. In 2021, she expanded her path into Production Design, embracing a broader vision of atmosphere and the emotional architecture of each project. Her work across film, series, music videos, short films, and commercials is marked by meticulous attention to detail, intentionality behind every texture, and a remarkable ability to build worlds that breathe with identity.
